Mother with giant belly thinks to be pregnant by twins, but the obstetrician sees different

In March 2017, Danielle Thrasher and her partner Joseph heard that they were expecting. After two long and emotional years in which they tried to conceive, their wish finally came true.

When Danielle was six weeks pregnant, she was informed that she was pregnant with twins. The couple was pleasantly surprised, but it was not entirely unexpected. Danielle and Joseph had both twins in the family, including Danielle's brothers.

"We were shocked and at the same time excited," said Danielle. "How did we care for the three precious babies that God blessed us? After a few weeks of prayer, we finally felt confident, and we were ready for this special journey that God gave for us. The doctors advised us not to say anything about the triple, to make sure everything went well. We followed the advice of the doctors and only recently told us that she's pregnant with a triple. Everything seemed to be fine."

Meanwhile, Danielle's belly grew day by day.

When Danielle was three months pregnant and visited the doctor, she received the same routine echo. But this time the obstetrician looked worse than ever before.
