Girl receives a gift from her stepmother - she takes a peek into the bag and burst into tears

Giving a gift to someone you care about can be difficult, but it is more special than giving a good one.

Such a gift not only symbolizes the love you feel for the person but also shows that you have thought about that individual.

This is probably what Brigitte had in mind when she gave a birthday present to her stepdaughter Haley - but I do not think she expected the reaction she received.

Haley will probably never forget her birthday party earlier this year, where all her friends and family members were present.

Her birthday took an unexpected turn when Haley's stepmother Brigitte came with a bag for her birthday.

The letter stated that Brigitte's request to adopt Haley was approved and that she was now officially her mother. And the girl's reaction? That hit me deeply!
